Working alongside a group of dedicated Get Out The Vote organizers, I created a logo and how-to guide to motivate voters in my hometown of Newburgh, NY.

I set out working with a good friend to create a quick "Get Out The Vote Newburgh" logo  to help motivate folks to get to the polls.

I was consolidating some of the published information with voting information, I became quickly frustrated by all the wonky text, vague instructions and complicated descriptions of, what I thought, is a quite straightforward process. No wonder people were always confused.

The resources frustrated me so much that I started to make my own outline of all the steps for casting a successful vote. I went ahead and designed a little booklet with all the useful information for anyone trying to vote here in Newburgh.

A stack of paper booklets that read "Vote Newbugh"

My friend worked locally to print, assemble, and distribute these throughout Newburgh in the run-up to the election, and we are already planning to create a version for future elections.
