I drew my original "Jedd" logo, gosh, probably over 15 years ago. But working on the new knits, I needed to get super low-res.

Usually scaling a logo down for screens includes an "anti-aliasing," which makes the logo a bit fuzzy in detail, but more crisp looking from a distance. For knitting, there isn't the luxury of adding this fuzzy detail, the scaled down version needs to be one single yarn color.

I've been spending the last few days drawing this low-fi version that comes in under 2 inches on our knitting resolution of 15 knits-per-inch.

Three Jedd logos at different resolutions

Although, I won't be including the logo on all the knit designs, it is good to have on hand for specific styles that benefit from having that "artist signature" effect. I can't wait to see this in real knits!
